I've been using Nigel's services for years as he always does a great job and his prices are extremely reasonable. He is punctual, polite, helpful and professional. He's done my windows, solar panels and gutters and they all end up satisfyingly clean.
We recently utilised the service of Dynamic Cleaning after a recommendation from a neighbour. Nigel was professional, efficient and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend this business and will be sure to use them again.
I’m glad that I found Dynamic cleaning. Nigel did a very detailed gutter cleaning for me, he is professional and also a very nice person to deal with. He done a great job with reasonable price, includes before and after photos. …
Once the installer leaves, a lot of rooftop systems are left to the weather. Rain does rinse light dust off, but it does not shift baked-on pollen, the red film Melbourne gets after a dry spell, or bird droppings that sit in the same corner of a panel for months. Dirty glass means less light reaching the cells. The panels are not doing the job you paid for.
Dynamic Cleaning Victoria offers solar panel cleaning across the Eastern Suburbs. We are a family-run, fully insured cleaning business. Nigel Vennell has been working on Eastern Suburbs properties since 2012. For panels, we wash the glass from the ground or a stable position where we can reach, and we do not walk on the modules.
Same Eastern Suburbs roof — lichen and dirt off the glass.

We clean panels. We do not open inverters, recable strings or diagnose a fault on the app. If a panel is cracked, the seal looks failed, or a corner is held down with a loose clamp, we will leave that module and tell you. Cleaning is not a substitute for an electrician.
Call or text 0433 230 310 with the suburb, roughly how many panels, the roof type (tile, metal, two-storey) and whether we can reach the array from the ground. A photo from the backyard is often enough to quote.
On the day we check access, taps and any obvious damage first. Then we wash the glass and leave it to dry. We do not stand on the panels. If a section cannot be reached safely — a steep pitch, brittle tiles, or an array hard against a boundary — we will say so rather than improvise. Many households book this with a gutter clean, which makes sense: the same visit gets leaves out of the channels and off the array above them.
Rooftop arrays in Vermont South, Nunawading, Mitcham, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Burwood, Box Hill, Blackburn, Ringwood, Wantirna and Doncaster pick up the same mix of dust, pollen and bird mess. Trees that are good for summer shade are also good at spotting panels. If your street is in that part of Melbourne, we are local.
Panels make power from the light that gets through the glass, and dust, pollen and droppings block some of it. On many systems the panels are wired together, so one heavily soiled panel can hold back more than its own output. If your inverter or monitoring app shows less than the same time last year and the glass looks dull, a clean is worth considering.
We clean with purified water and soft brushes made for solar glass. Purified water dries without leaving residue, so there is no need for detergents, harsh chemicals or abrasive pads.
Bird droppings dry hard in the sun and rain will not shift them. We wet them and let them soften before brushing, rather than scraping the glass. Lichen along the frame edges, like in the photos above, gets the same patient treatment.
Rain helps with loose dust. It does little for droppings, sap, or a film that has baked on through a dry January. Melbourne also has long stretches with no useful rain. If the panels look patchy from the street, rain has not been enough.
Not when it is done with water and a brush meant for solar modules, on a cool surface. Dry wiping or a household scourer is what leaves marks. We wash grit off; we do not grind it in.
Once a year is a sensible starting point for most houses in this area. Twice a year is more realistic if you have heavy tree cover, a bird’s favourite ridge, or a roof that faces a dusty road. Watch the glass and your generation, not a fixed calendar.
Often no. Some arrays still need a safer elevated position. We decide that from the access, not from a habit of climbing every roof.
Yes. Gutters sit on the same roof as the panels. Ask for both when you call and we will quote them together.

Dust, bird droppings and leaves build up on panels over time, and cleaning them helps keep your system producing well.
Once or twice a year suits most homes. Homes near trees or busy roads may need it more often.
We clean with soft brushes and purified water so the panels aren't scratched or left with residue.
